2nd Annual Columbia County NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet
There are moments when we are called to remember—and moments when we are called to rise.
Join the Columbia County NAACP for the 2026 Freedom Fund Banquet as we gather under the powerful theme:
Their Legacy. Our Moment.
What will we do with what they gave us?
We stand today because generations before us had the courage to stand, speak, sacrifice, and believe in a better tomorrow. Now, the legacy they built rests in our hands, and this is our moment to honor it by continuing the work.
Featuring Dr. Kendricks D. Hooker, President of Augusta Technical College, this inspiring evening will celebrate how far we have come, recognize the responsibility of where we stand, and challenge us to imagine what we can build together.

Come be inspired. Come be challenged. Come be part of the legacy.
They gave us the foundation. This is our moment to build upon it.
We look forward to your presence with us!
