CANCELED: Julie Fowlis

Unfortunately, Julie Fowlis’s fall tour has been canceled, including the performance at UGA. It will not be rescheduled. However, the fantastic Scottish band, Cantrip, will perform in her place.

In Lochs and Legends, Julie Fowlis returns to UGA to share the songs, language, and stories of Scotland’s remote islands and Highlands. The multi-award-winning singer—hailed by Robert Macfarlane as sounding like “snow singing”—draws deeply from her Hebridean roots. Scotland’s 2023 Musician of the Year, she is beloved worldwide for her crystalline vocals and for performing the theme songs to Disney Pixar’s Brave. From Carnegie Hall to stages around the world, her voice and charm have enchanted audiences everywhere.
